'THE SUCK UP'
I kept thinking, 'It's just as much work to sew life-sized pants!'
Don't miss those tiny ties! It was a story point that they both have identical ties. ('Suck Up' is copying his boss).
'THE WUSS'
When sewing on such a small scale, every stitch has to be perfect and no 'Ken' doll clothes allowed!
'MAMA'S BOY'
Lots of wardrobe re-creations & sewing on set for the girl puppet. It went from sleazy, to somewhat provocative, to the final; over-dressed.
Working with the same production company, I also sewed and designed for another Super Bowl commercial with live action actors (no puppets).
I made pink coverlets for tools in a garage, so that the whole garage looked overtly feminine. Even covered a water heater with floral quilted material and Dingle-Ball fringe!
